Antique Figural Napkin Ring Flower Leaf Base Rogers - $358.00

This is a wonderful original silver plate antique victorian figural napkin ring marked with #162 Rogers Silver Quadruple Plate for Rogers Silver, USA that was acquired and the named changed in 1879 when acquired by Meriden Britannia. The napkin ring features a flower on one side, a curving stem on the other and is seated on a leaf. It was totally black, but it has cleaned up to reveal very little plating loss and would probably shine up beautifully. These figural victorian napkin rings are becoming ever more difficult to find and this is a wonderful example as well as just the thing to still grace an elegant tea table.

Pair Old Sheffield Plate Wine Coasters. - $284.00

A pair of wine decanter or bottle coasters, with turned wooden bases and gadrooned edges. They each measure 4.5cm high (1.3/4 inches) and are just under 15cm diameter (5.3/4 inches). No maker's or other marks. The bases underneath have lost their baize, having only a rough cloth over the wood, but baize is easily replaced. Very good condition - there are a few tiny dents to one, and one to the other. The copper bleed is only seen underneath the bottom edge, where the plate is folded over, and inside on the raised edges of the moulded sides (there is so much reflection of the base wood, that it's hard to spot the copper. A very nice pair. You can feel the rim under the edge of the gadrooning. Circa early to mid 19th century.

Silver Handled Fruit Knives and Forks, Set for 6. - $222.00

A set of 6 fruit knives and forks (or entree knives and forks - great for luncheon dishes too). They have very ornate sterling silver handles, with a intertwined embossed design of grapes, leaves and wheat. The blades and tines are silver plated. The sterling silver handles are hallmarked as being made by M. H. & Co (Martin Hall & Co), Sheffield. There are no date marks - just the lion, the Queen's head and the crown of Sheffield. Probably mid 19th century. Knives are 21.5cm long, and forks are 18cm long (8.1/4 inches and 7 inches). Condition: This set has been used, and the blades and tines show scuffing commensurate with this. There is loss of plate in a few bubbles on the blades (see photo), and at the fork tips. Two of the forks have a gap between the silver collar and the beginning of the silver plated metal (see close-up photo of this). This is generally caused by either washing them in too hot water, or putting them through a dishwasher. (The glue inside the handles melts, and the metal pulls away ). It can be reversed by heating and re-seating the metal - I have had my own set done. However, it is not hugely noticeable, and the forks can be used quite easily as they are. This is a beautiful set, some 150 years old. To be perfect, you could have the blades and tines replated, reseat the few items that need it, and you would have a valuable antique set to enjoy and pass on. Or - use them as they are, and accept their age and beauty.

Georgian Sterling Silver Creamer, English. - $720.00

A small jug, sterling silver, dating from the mid 18th century, George III period. The hallmarks are rubbed, but the crowned leopard's head is visible, and the initials of the maker "I.P." or it could be "I.F" in a shaped stamp, with a large dot centrally midway up the stamp between the I and the following letter. There are a number of possible London silversmiths who have somewhat similar marks, but I can't positively identify it. The date mark is rubbed badly, but a strong curve is visible - it could be the b of 1777. No king's head, so pre 1784. Silver weight is approx. 135grms. Jug itself is in very good condition - the only faults are that the little hoof feet have curled up more than they should (one particularly) and need to be unfurled a little - there are no fractures, and the legs have not been driven up into the body, so a simple job for a silversmith. Everything else is perfect - can't see any sign of repairs. Pretty engraved design of simple flowers and cartouches around the lobed central body. Measures 9.5cm high to top of handle, and 8.2cm wide including handle (3.1/2 inches by 3.1/4 inches). A charming little piece.

Sterling Silver Sauce Boat, Mappin & Webb, 1938. - $284.00

A sauce or gravy boat of classical proportions, on three hoofed feet. Made by Mappin & Webb, and hallmarked for Sheffield 1938. Shaped rim. Measures 7.5cm wide, 16cm long and 8.5cm wide (3 inches by 6.1/4 inches by 3.1/4 inches). Weight is approx. 95grms. Very good condition.

Sterling Silver, Floral Engraved Napkin Ring. - $45.00

A sterling silver napkin ring, with pretty engraving of flower and leaves either side of the cartouche. The initials "G.L.B." are engraved in the cartouche, in flowing script. Ring is just under 2cm high (3.4 inch) and is 4.5cm diameter (1.3/4 inches). Hallmarked for Birmingham (England) 1915. Very good condition.

Two Pepperettes, Victorian Period Sterling Silver. - $268.00

Two little pepper pots - very similar in design, but bearing different hallmarks. One is very fractionally shorter than the other, and the design while almost identical, is slightly smaller in detail. One pot is hallmarked for Birmingham 1892, and the other for Chester 1892. One has its marks underneath, the other has them on the neck. Both tops are also hallmarked, on their inside rim. Pots are very ornate, with scrolling embossed design of flowers and acanthus foliage. Central cartouches are unengraved. One pot measures 7.7cm high, the other 7.5cm high (a fraction over 3 inches and 2.15/16 inches high). The widest point is 3.75cm diameter (1.1/2 inches). The top on the Birmingham one is loose, but this is easily fixed by a silversmith. Slight dent up underneath the base of this one. The Chester pot has some tiny dents in the neck, nothing serious or ugly though. Otherwise, both are in very good condition. Maker's mark for the Birmingham pot is HE and RS.. The maker on the Chester pot is rubbed, but looks like BR... (maybe S).

Nielo Decorated Egyptian Napkin Rings - $37.00

Four napkin rings, decorated with nielo pictures of camels, boats on the Nile, buildings on the river banks, and palm trees. Vintage souvenirs of Egypt, made in what is probably lower grade of silver, possibly .800 or similar. Very attractive rings, approx 2.7cm high (1 inch) although each aries a little bit. Approx. 4.5cm diameter (1.3/4 inches). Very good condition.

RING JUG / WINE DECANTER, Earthenware, Hungary - $48.00

A fabulous earthenware ring jug handade in Hungary. Incised and hand painted floral decorations are different front to back: one side has orange flowers with small green leaves, and the other side has a large green teardrop design that resembles peacock feathers. The stopper is attached to the jug with red yarn. There is one small chip on the rim, which is normally hidden by the stopper. There is no other damage noted. It is about 11&quot; high and 8&quot; across and 2&quot; deep. A great accent piece for your bar, sure to garner many compliments. Abingdon Pottery Yellow Floral 3 Pc Console Set - $60.00

Abingdon Pottery 3 piece console set of lovely yellow body with a floral decal dating from the 1940s. The set consists of a large oblong console bowl with scroll acanthus leaf handles and a matching pair of scroll candlesticks. The bowl is decorated with a polychromatic decal.

The bowl is 13.5 inches long, 5.5 inches wide and 4 inches tall. The canlesticks are 4.5 inches tall. The console bowl is marked Abingdon 532 and the candlesticks have a brown felt bottom and ink stamps underneath. The set is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is mino wear to the gold trim.

Pretty contemporary pottery piece marked ″USA″. Off-white matte finish is ribbed and stippled with white high-gloss glaze. Though it is unmarked, I believe this was produced by Haegar, as this boko glaze technique is found quite often on their pottery. This piece can be used as a vase or planter, a small centerpiece or candle bowl, or even a nut or candy dish. Truly versatile and quite pretty, too. Hall China Orange Poppy Covered Oval Casserole Dish - $38.00

This is a wonderful vintage oval covered casserole produced by Hall China in their popular ″Orange Poppy″ pattern. Measuring 9″ long, it is in good condition however it does have some wear to silver trim, some light crazing to inside bottom and a firing crack on inside edge (that lids fits on). This is from manufacturing. No chips or repairs. Really a nice casserole.

Limoges Large Porcelain Ashtray or Dish. - $26.00

A pretty large Limoges porcelain ashtray, which, if you don't smoke could be used as a pin or nut dish. It measures 12cm diameter (4.3/4 inches) and 2cm high (13/16 inch). It has gilded floral designs over a claret coloured background, and a central scene of a gentleman and his lady. Carries the backstamp for Limoges, "Made in France" and "Veritable Porcelaine d'Art". Excellent condition.

A pretty little porcelain lidded pot, green background with the traditional courting couple decoration to the lid. Gilded decoration of flower heads to the side of the pot. Excellent condition. Made by La Reine, Limoges Porcelain, France. Measures 2.5cm high, and 5.5cm diameter (1 inch by 2.1/8 inches).

Limoges Porcelain Large Powder Bowl and Lid. - $56.00

A pretty powder bowl and lid - gilded decoration with courting couple scene. Lid has pretty flower finial. Measures approx. 9cm high (3.1/2 inches) and 11.25cm diameter (4.1/2 inches). Made by F.M. (Fontanille & Marraud) of Limoges, France. Carries backstamp for them, with "Label de Qualite". Excellent condition.

Limoges Pill Box, with Gilded Brass Trim. - $96.00

A porcelain pill or trinket box, made by S.A. Porcelain, of Limoges, France. This is a really beautiful little box, so much better quality than the ordinary claret-coloured Limoges items one sees. It has a serpentine shaped front, concave sides, and reeded, gilded brass trim (like ormulu) with a flower-head clasp. The pretty floral design to the lid has textured highlight spots, and the gilded borders pattern is very intircate. Measruements: 6.3cm wide, 4cm deep and 3.5cm high (2.1/2 inches by 1.9/19 inch by 1.3/8 nches). A real little gem of a box, in excellent condition. Probably 1960s.

Limoges Pot with Handles and Lid. - $32.00

A French Limoges pot, with gilded handles and a lid with gilded finial. Claret colour, with gilded floral design, and a scene in the style of Fragonard on the front. Pot is 7.5cm high (3 inches), and measures 10cm across handle to handle (4 inches). Excellent condition. Carries the DC, Limoges mark.

Limoges Lidded Trinket Pot, with Scroll Feet. - $32.00

A porcelain lidded pot, marked "Limoges, France". The lid has a scene after Fragonard as decoration, and the pot has gilded decoration. It stands on three scrolled and gilded legs. Measures 4.5cm high (1.3/4 inches) and 7.5cm (3 inches) diameter. Excellent condition.

Vintage Mccoy Bananas Wall Pocket -Rare All Green Leaves - $35.00

There are several variations of this McCoy Banana Cluster Wall pocket. This example is harder to find with the all green leaves. Also it has the brown trim at the top and bottom of the bananas. Unfortunately this piece has a factory flaw/repair. The leaf stem had been broken off and repaired. Not sure why this piece was not destroyed at the factory. however the repair is definitely glazed over from the factory. Measuring 6 1/4″ wide by 7 1/2″ tall, the piece is not marked as is common with these pockets. A hard to find wallpocket from McCoy.

Vintage Pottery Bunch Of Bananas Wall Pocket - $20.00

This is a great vintage pottery wall pocket of a bunch of bananas. Measuring approx. 5″ tall and 3 1/2″ wide, it is in great condition. It does have a firing crack on back edge top however this is a flaw, not damage. Not marked. It was bought with the McCoy Pottery bananas wall pocket and is of the same quality. Really a nice piece.

This is a very unusual miniature bone china teacup and saucer that was made by Royal Albert, England in the 1970s as part of the Flower Of The Month series. The tea cup and saucer has a fancy waisted pedestal shape and a lovely design of roses, holly and mistletoe and called Christmas Rose representing the month of December with gold trim. The cup measures 1.5 inch high by 1.75 in diameter and the saucer is 2.75 in diameter. The set is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. So cute and so collectible!

This is a lovely Shelley China, England bone china teacup and saucer in the late Dorothy shape in pattern # 13430 Primrose with pale green trim. It was made between 1940-1966. The dish is in good condition with no cracks but does a small chip on a corner. It is a sweet little dish and very collectible.

This is a lovely bone china teapot made by Shelley China, England in 1925-1940. The pattern is Melody Chintz and is in the new Cambridge or Tulip shape. 1813 Carpenters Desk 424.99

This is a wonderful, very old, handmade Carpenters Desk [we think that`s what it is] has a date inside of 1813. Also has some other letters, but they are very scrolly, and I can`t tell what they say. If your interested email me, and I can send more pictures.
It looks like it was painted at one time, then striped. There is old white paint in the cracks on some parts of hinges. Looks like hinges are hand made, still has some original ...I don`t know what to call them, they are not screws, but metal pegs that are melted, and pounded down. There are some old screws in some of them too.
The inside has a handmade piece that is shaped like an arrow, and would fit into lock. These also are attached by handmade pegs, but these have the tops coming threw the top, and are about 1/2`` diameter. Sides are dovetailed, and does have a brass plate where lock would be, but this isn`t as old as other hardware.
I have been told by a primitives dealer that this is a very fine primitive.
These Carpenters Desk were used by Carpenters [of coarse], etc, and purposely didn`t have legs. They would take these along to their jobs and set on table. It is so neat the way it was handmade.
A real collectors item.

Antique Wood Commode 294.99

Very neat, and very old Oak Commode has metal wheels, and metal handles which made it easy to move from room to room. Cover flips up to show a round wood top which covers original ironstone pot. Ironstone pot does have alot of crazing, and a crack down one side. Is in wonderful condition except for that.
Could use as end table, planter or just as a conversation piece. I love the warm glow old Oak wood has. Really neat.

The classic style of this very old Granitware Collender is a must for a collector of neat stuff. This Collander has much history behind it. It is very used. Has a wonderful aged look. Bottom stand is rusted, and bent, and rest of Collander has lots of neat wear marks. I only buy Granitware with wear marks. Wear marks document the history of an item. Has dark green band around rim, and stand, and dark green handles.
Use on counter for fruit, display a bunch of old childs blocks as I did collection of balls, or even a silk plant.

Wonderful, old handpainted metal sign is a must for sign collectors.
On the bottom corner it says ``A m, Inc Lynchburg, Va 5 83``. Don`t know how old this is, but I feel there is some age to it. The ``Carnation Feeds``, and border are in red, and somebody years later stenceled ``Silver Cloud, 1BLK, and an arrow`` in blue. I think the Silver Cloud part adds even more history to the sign. Has rust on back, and lots of scratches, dents and dings. This all adds charcter. If anyone can tell me more about this sign please let me know.

This great piece is stained the dark oak color, and is good condiiton. Top has some scratches, and spots, but could be refinshed, and some wear marks around drawer pulls from the fingers. Mirror is in great condition, except for one small spot on top of mirror. Most people want a preloved look so you can tell it is not a reproduction.
There is carving going down each side on front, on each arm holding mirror, and bottom of mirror bracket (the piece of wood that holds the arms on). Two drawers have a dangling tear drop style drawer pulls that are very unique. There are holes in middle of tear drops.
Would look great in foyer, hall or childs room.

Duchess Enamel Pan 74.99

From what I could find looks like this is from the Duchess line, made about 1890, and made by The Jacob Vollrath Mfg. Co of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and is hard to find.
This Cobbleston pattern was made by using a color transfer pattern for the veins of brown and white with slight traces of darker blue. Pan has black rim.
This pan is in used condition and has many worn spots on outside and a few on the white insides. I like the look. The worn spots documents the history of this pan. I don`t like buying ones that look new, could be a reproduction.

The decals on the machine are still bright and colorful. Sewing cabinet has 4 drawers, and is in very good condition. Includes box with attachments, original instruction book, and needles.
