What you will do

  • Develop generalizable manipulation policies for grasping, insertion, and tool use.
  • Build robust control, compliance, and recovery strategies for contact-rich tasks.
  • Train, deploy, and improve policies through robot data, simulation, hardware testing, and failure analysis.

What you are great at

  • Hands-on experience deploying manipulation policies on physical robots.
  • Strong fundamentals in kinematics, control, motion planning, and trajectory optimization.
  • Experience with C++, ROS or ROS2, and simulators such as MuJoCo or Isaac Lab.

Founding Software Engineer - Autonomy Systems

What you will do

  • Build production-quality autonomy and perception components for real robots.
  • Diagnose cross-module failures using visualization, logs, and robot data.
  • Balance accuracy, latency, compute, and robustness through hardware experiments and field testing.

What you are great at

  • Strong C++ and Python skills with experience writing production robotics software.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and testing autonomy on physical robots and sensors.
  • Solid robotics fundamentals and familiarity with ROS2 or similar middleware.
